Gwendolyn A. Hood
Founder, Director of Marketing
Gwendolyn completed her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Missouri while working full-time as a Paralegal for a plaintiff personal injury law firm in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, where she continued to work until moving to Germany for her M.B.A. studies.
In July 2011, Gwendolyn completed an accelerated 11-month master of international business program in Hannover, Germany, earning dual M.B.A. diplomas from Purdue University and Leibniz Universität.
Gwendolyn has worked on various projects that maximized her talents of project management, market research, and marketing strategy. Her drive and passion have led her to establish her own marketing consulting firm, First 6 Creative, LLC to aid small to medium sized businesses with their business needs, including marketing strategy, communications, social media management, and market research and analysis.
The nature of Gwendolyn’s passion for marketing lies with her creative talents and analytical ability. She has served as a marketing consultant for St. Louis area attorneys and performed market research and analysis for international manufacturers. In addition to her experience with marketing strategy, Gwendolyn is also an accomplished writer. She won an award for writing in ninth grade, and has honed her writing skills through her studies in philosophy and business. She has recent experience in corporate communications and agency experience as a copywriter and marketing coordinator.
Gwendolyn studied German in high school and college, and she improved her language skills while living in Germany for business school. She considers herself “almost fluent” and has conducted business in German. Her personal adventures include knitting, baking, and visiting the local craft breweries. She also enjoys exercising, mostly weightlifting, spinning and running.
